The fifth edition of the Sine Dolore World Park 2019 (SDWP 2019), the only theme park in the world against pain, will take place in Menorca from May 1 to 5, in which the 1st Sine Dolore Fair of Health and Quality will be held. Life, one of the two main novelties this year.
Sine Dolore European Pain Foundation has organized in collaboration with the City Council of Es Castell the 1st Sine Dolore Fair of Health and Quality of Life. It is one of the two novelties of the Sine Dolore World Park this year and the event will take place on May 1 from 10 to 15 hours in a tent of about 1,000 square meters located on the Plaça Esplanada of the town.
Companies related to the health, wellbeing and quality of life sector will exhibit their products and / or services throughout a full day of activities, among which we can highlight the keynote address by Dr. Fernando Serrano, Medical Rehabilitation of SM Don Juan Carlos.
In addition, the Associació Menorquina de Falconeria (AMFAL) will offer, from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., a show and display of Falconry with raptors (hawks, eagles, owls, etc.).
The second novelty of the Sine Dolore World Park this year will be held on May 2. In the morning, all people suffering from chronic pain can receive personalized and free medical advice at the headquarters of Sine Dolore European Pain Foundation, located at C / Doctor Camps 32 de Mahón. The medical team led by Dr. Jordi Moya will attend by appointment to the people who have requested it, with the particularity that, subsequently, patients can be followed up through the digital platform We Doctor, a telemedicine service that allows you to have the best medical specialists from anywhere in the world.
On the same day but in the afternoon, specifically at 8:00 pm, the Hotel Occidental Menorca in Punta Prima will once again host the central event of the Sine Dolore World Park 2019, which will consist of a keynote address on "Medicine in the age of Templars "by Dr. Ignacio Velázquez, Vice President of the Andalusian Pain Society. Afterwards, the attendees will be able to taste a selection of cheeses, courtesy of the Regulatory Council of the Formatge amb Denominació d'Origen Mahón-Menorca, and liqueurs of the Gin Xoriguer house.
After 24 hours, on Friday, May 3, will start the conferences and workshops of the main scientific activity of the Sine Dolore World Park, the Sine Dolore Forum, the largest international and multidisciplinary medical event on the treatment of all types of pain . It is important to remember that this forum has been conceived since its inception as a space for debate, exchange and learning in which professionals from around the world analyze and share the medical advances achieved in the treatment of pain, an invisible disease that affects, according to the data made public by the World Health Organization, to 20 percent of the population.
The XIV Mediterranean Multidisciplinary Pain Forum, VIII European Multidisciplinary Pain Meeting and VI International Congress of Pain EFHRE has been declared of scientific and professional interest by the Medical Association of Spain and by the General Council of Official Medical Associations.
The Sine Dolore World Park 2019 program includes one more year a new edition of the Sine Dolore International School for family and patients with pain. More than 30 prestigious doctors, nationally and internationally, in the treatment of chronic persistent pain participate in this event to be held on Friday, May 3 at 20 hours simultaneously in all municipalities of Menorca. All the conferences are important and it is recommended to consult the attached program, but it is worth highlighting the one that will be held at the City Hall of Ciutadella because it will have the intervention of Dr. Manuela García Romero, President of the Official College of Physicians of the Balearic Islands.
Finally, on Saturday, May 4, at 7:00 pm, the Main Theater of Mahón will once again be the luxury stage of the closing of the V Sine Dolore World Park 2019, with the Grand Gala Sine Dolore 2019. The show "Músiques que mabaten mals" "Will gather on stage the voices of María Camps, Elena Carreras, Jenny Hepworth, Jaume Gelabert and Jaume Olives, accompanied by Birgit Euler (violin), Mónica Preto (piano), Mercedes González (flute and accordion), Tolo Mercadal, Ionas Mercadal , Ariadna Mercadal and Xavier Mercadal (clarinets), as well as the Ute Dahl dance school. Jordi Odri will present the gala under the direction and on the piano of Marlén Coll. Entrance is free and open.
The Gala will end with the presentation of the scientific prizes Padre Vicente Macián and Dr. Luis Aliaga and, in addition, a tribute will be paid to the doctors who supported the creation of Sine Dolore 15 years ago and who have supported the Forum Sine Dolore since then.
Finally, it is important to highlight the unconditional support of the Pain Alliance Europe (PAE) Al Sine Dolore World Park, so that its president, Joan Van Griensen, will participate in the event.
